A thief shattered the window of a Brooklyn mac and cheese restaurant and climbed inside during a burglary this week, new video shows.
The suspect tossed an unknown object at the front window of Mac Shack on Fulton Street near Clinton Avenue in Clinton Hill around 5:30 a.m. Monday and then pressed himself against the broken glass to force his way inside, surveillance video released late Tuesday shows.
He spent a few seconds in the restaurant, grabbing a cash lockbox, holding about $245, police said.
The video shows him carrying the box as he jumps out of the eatery through the broken glass.
He took off, heading west on Fulton Street and then north on Vanderbilt Avenue, cops said.
