New York City will reopen indoor dining at 25 percent capacity Friday — two days earlier than previously announced, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Monday.
“Valentine’s Day should be a big restaurant day, and so we’ll open 25 percent indoor dining [in] New York City [on] Friday before Valentine’s Day so they’ll have a big Valentines Day,” Cuomo said at a press briefing.
City eateries have been closed to indoor dining since mid-December amid COVID-19.
