Tom Brady won his seventh Super Bowl title on Sunday – and his first not as a New England Patriot – but his former teammates remain impressed with their old quarterback after Brady led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 31-9 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 2021.

Several of them praised Brady on Twitter, none more so than one of Brady’s old receivers, Julian Edelman.

“7 rings, can’t stop won’t stop,” Edelman wrote. “The best ever in all sports.”

Edelman also posted a picture of a hand with five fingers up and a second with two, representing Brady’s seven championships, which is more than any other player and any other franchise in league history.

Other ex-teammates didn’t just single out Brady, but also another former Patriot – Rob Gronkowski, who teamed with Brady in Tampa Bay to win his third championship.

Strong safety Patrick Chung wrote: “Just witnessed history. Blessed to see this @RobGronkowski @TomBrady greatest of all time. Both of you.”

Former Patriots and Jets corner Darrelle Revis wrote: “7 Rings. Brady. Untouchable.”

Retired wide receiver Donte Stallworth wrote: “So Jordan has 6 rings, and Brady has 7 rings. is it now safe to say that Brady is the GOAT of all GOATS?”

Running back James White also referred to Brady as “TB12 goat,” and DT Lawrence Guy, DBs Devin and Jason McCourty, RB Damien Harris and DE Chase Winovich all did the same, with the Patriots’ team account also tweeting to Brady: “Congratulations to the greatest of all time.”
