You won’t find Andrew Cuomo at the governor’s mansion in Albany, but Cuomosexuals can still get their fix of the disgraced pol on ebay.
There are currently 333 items up for sale, ranging from a signed “New York Tough” poster and a delusional Cuomo for President 2020 button ($3), to an “I have a crush on Cuomo” coffee mug being hawked for $12.99.
That merch sold like hot cakes during headier days, when swooning celebs like comedian Chelsea Handler professed their love for anything Andrew.
Handler first revealed she had her eye on the self-professed COVID commander in her HBO Max special “Evolution,” which debuted in October 2020 amid the pandemic.
“I offered myself up to Andrew Cuomo,” she gushed to “Sway” host Kara Swisher. “In the pandemic, I was very turned on by his morning news conferences, as many of us were.”
In July, the comedian, 46, revealed she was over randy Andy after multiple women came forward to accuse him of sexual misconduct.
Ebay merchants are now looking to profit on Cuomo’s plummet, hawking T-shirts that read, “Killin grannies… smackin fannies” for $22.50, and creepy decals of the “Peeping Governor” for $6.49.
Sellers with a sense of humor are charging $400 for a Cuomo-signed copy of his laughable memoir “American Crisis: Leadership Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic” and $80 for a pandemic press conference bobblehead ($80), that recalls the days of the governor’s cloying coronavirus updates that won him an Emmy — since revoked.
“Brand new,” trumpets one seller, is the front page of the Aug. 24 New York Post that depicts Cuomo hugging his pooch Captain and reads, “Dog Gone … Hound Finally Leaves Gov’s Mansion.” That piece of history will set buyers back $8.95.
For those who may love Lucy, but not Andy, $99 will get you a 2012 signed declaration and pen of the governor renaming a span in Endicott, NY, the Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Memorial Bridge. The legendary comedian, who died in 1989, was born in nearby Jamestown.
